Speed control levers on either side of the console are designed to give forward and reverse control from either side, the top speed can be easily controlled with a handy hi / low switch limiting the scooter to either 4mph for pavement use or 8 mph for use on the road.

I took delivery of my Excel Excite 4 Galaxy Mobile Scooter (Van os Medical) just over 4 weeks ago. I had already used a scooter for 6 years prior to this new purchase. I am so delighted with this scooter. The panel at the front regarding indicators, horn, battery, etc., is so easy to read and anyone with limited vision could easily read the instrument details. The ride is comfortable, the seating is comfortable, everything about it is first class. I am absolutely delighted with this new machine and would recommend it to anyone considering purchasing an 8mph scooter.
